Intensity of color.
This image has high intensity of color, which I mean very colorful. I focus on the center of the flower which is the most important and attractive part. So I make it impressive the abstract of color,I make it red,make it so hot that the petal seems to be melting.
Next time, I will spot more interesting images as well as some fun sites.

I don't know how to say about this image. I just feel that the image has too much like and it makes no different between your focusing area with the others... it's just my idea!
when viewing your image, it can make the viewer feel sad cuz' it's so simple and the colors are bright....^^
I think if you are interested in focusing on the saturation of colour, it might be better to start with an image that has very little in it... to get a feeling of progression.
On viewing both of the pieces together, I'm wondering if it wouldn't be a neat experiment to simply crop the parts that are changing radically... like the pattern at the center of the flower, or the back of the sea lion.
